I love being a mother! I love mothering. I mother Annie and Andrew (they like my mothering them…except on Facebook), I mother John, (he gets a bit annoyed), I mother our dogs , I mother the girls of Petit Soleil and I mother the Petit guests. Sometimes mothering is mentoring, sometimes it is teaching, sometimes it is a warm breakfast on a cold morning or a chilled glass of rose on a warm evening, sometimes it is arguing to stimulate thoughts, sometimes it is helping find the perfect dress for a prom or a tie to match a suit. Mothering is listening and mothering is always love! During May we celebrate mothers and moms, celebrate yourselves!
