We love the Brown family!

One of the many joys of working here is getting to experience the guests' special events right alongside them. From birthdays to anniversaries, engagements and honeymoons, and even family reunions are such a special treat. One of the most memorable was the Brown family that visited us this past summer. They made Petit their home for the weekend and were quite a blast to hang out with! Here are some of Casey Browns' kind words:

"I know our large group had to be a challenge for your staff. We were lead by an 89 yr. old DAD, down to an infant great-grand child... spreading over four generations! In spite of all that, your hospitality and gracious, kind, helpful attitude that was displayed by all was so appreciated. From the cute decor in the rooms, the nice breakfasts and gathering room, the free bikes to borrow, and your location close to downtown (the Farmers Market was fun) all made for a successful family reunion that was a big hit.

Our big group of over 23 Brown family members also enjoyed visiting Avila beach, Morro Bay and a nice picnic in a local San Luis Obispo park during our July stay. But a highlight had to be your Wine Hour each evening; we all gathered in the rear courtyard around the trickling fountain and talked with other family members while sipping wine and beer and enjoying the delicious munchies, like the
spicy Almond crunch.

Keep up the good hosting and cooking up those Petit Soleil treats... I wouldn't be surprised if we all return for another reunion again in a few years. We will recommend your place to anyone looking for a nice stay on the central Calif. coast."
