Bringing in the New Year, SLO style

They say two thousand zero, zero, party over,
Oops, out of time!
So tonight I'm gonna party like it's...2009!

Thanks to Prince as ten years later, that song still rocks it on New Year's! Check out the SLO events page for the low down on tomorrow's festivities. The local restaurants like NOVO and Koberl at Blue will be serving up a great menu as well as some tasty bubbly options. For those who only sip the best, Level Four club in Paso Robles is having an event sponsored by Dom Perignon and Belvedere vodka. If you don't feel like sponsoring a cab ride to Paso and back, we are within walking distance of the local haunts. Downtown Brew is having a black and white masquerade. I'm sure there will be dancing, good spirits, and the like.

Or if you just want to kick back at Petit after wine hour, our very own Michelle will be bringing in 2009 with Petit Soleil.

As for me, I will definitely be cruising over to NOVO with my husband to check out what kind of specials they have going. The last time we went there we had ahi nachos with fried wontons, some kind of seaweed, and a special sauce. The dish is actually featured in the Central Coast Magazine (CCM) Iron Chef edition. Or, since John and Dianne are in Portland for the holiday, maybe the Petiters and I will be having a bash with Wally and Notty (their dogs)......just kidding John and Dianne!
