Blogs
hmmm can't quite come up with a title - just lucky that the blog is done!
Submitted by Dianne on Thu, 07/08/2010 - 16:42Bonjour!
You would think that this blog would have been out about eight days ago…Nope. Late. I am late again. I will call it writers’ block – lack of clever thoughts – nothingness on the brain. It is July 8th, though, and I must make an attempt at entertaining you and sharing with you information about July’s wines.
Celebrating San Luis Obispo County Wineries
Submitted by Dianne on Tue, 06/01/2010 - 10:28BonJour and Happy June!
The Central Coast, in this case, San Luis Obispo County, has a vast assortment of really stellar wineries!
In North County,(Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero) the weather is cool in the winter and HOT in the summer so the dark red lust wines: Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and blends, are especially delicious!
Facebook and Fun of Social Networking!
Submitted by Dianne on Tue, 06/01/2010 - 07:59I really do have to post about the wines for June - I am on my way to Petit right now to do exactly that!
But, before I run, I have to say that I am loving the world of social networking! I have connected with childhood friends, and great friends from my days at Mexicana Airlines. I have communicated with fascinating people that I have never met via the Fab over Fifty web and the Blue Thong Society and have had more than a few very serendipitous moments in the meetings!

VINS D'AUTOUR DU MONDE
Submitted by Dianne on Sat, 05/01/2010 - 14:27Vins d'autour du Monde
This will be so much fun!
I recently had the pleasure of tasting seven really sensational wines from seven different countries! They are all unique: some have a spritz to them, some are dark and lusty, some taste like ripe grapefruit and some like ripe cherry! I think our guests will be pleasantly surprised by each one of these wines for May.
2008 Basa Rueda The winery is Basa and the region that this wine hails from is the Rueda. This clean, herbal blend of Verdejo (a Spanish variety of wine grape), Viura and Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and fresh!
Joyeuse fête des mères
Submitted by Dianne on Wed, 04/28/2010 - 16:27MAY 2010
I just reread my blog from May 2009 and decided, darn, that is a pretty good summation of Mother’s Day! I am repeating myself – so enjoy the thoughts again!
“May
Happy Mother’s Day! …and Happy Mothers’ Day!
“”Motherhood is a lifelong journey that’s as unique as every woman who embarks on it. No other role defines us as deeply and fills us with as much compassion – or tests our strength and patience more extremely! No other relationship fills our hearts with as much love, wonder and awe for another human being>”

I think I will go for a little blog......
Submitted by Dianne on Mon, 04/05/2010 - 19:41The title of this blog is to champion Annie's triumphant success in the L.A. Marathon! Congrats, baby!
I know…late again! Maybe no one reads this blog so no one will know how late I am posting it – but then, no one will know why I am late with the post and no one will know all the fun things that have been happening in and around Petit
I am late posting this blog because:
Wines o'March
Submitted by Dianne on Tue, 03/02/2010 - 18:05BONJOUR!
We hope you will enjoy these wines that we chose for March! We thought to nix wines altogether and just serve Guinness and Jameson in celebration of St. Patrick, but we rethought that blarney and decided on some great fruits of the vine!

I was just bopping down the road singing Steve Miller's "Jetliner" and it came to the part "You've got to go through hell before you get to heaven" and I thought bingo! That's the name of this month's blog!
